The Summer Soirée is the perfect opportunity to support the arts while enjoying a beautiful summer night with friends. Members of the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players will be performing live, providing the perfect soundtrack for the evening. There will also be delicious food and drinks catered by Via 45, so you can enjoy a bite while you take in the music and views of the Navesink River.
You are invited to the New Jersey Symphony’s 2025 Season Opening Celebration honoring Xian Zhang’s 10th season as Music Director. Guests will enjoy an elegant dinner prelude, the season opening concert featuring Music Director Xian Zhang, guest artist Joyce Yang and the New Jersey Symphony and a dessert after-party.
This rendition of the annual Spring into Music Gala honored former Governor Thomas H. Kean and his dedication to the performing arts industry in New Jersey, as well as the Symphony’s efforts to bring great programming and educational offerings across the state with a cocktail reception, a dinner with a private performance featuring members of the New Jersey Symphony and students of the New Jersey Symphony Youth Orchestra and a silent auction.
This event marked the festive celebration of the Year of the Snake with the pre-concert Cultural Exchange Festival featuring artisans and performers from Prince Kung’s Palace Museum, a VIP reception and the celebration concert featuring Xian Zhang, Min Kwon, Michael Fabiano, the Peking University Alumni and Starry Arts Group Children’s Choruses and the Edison Chinese School Lion Dance Team.
This event kickstarted the New Jersey Symphony’s 2024–25 season with a celebration brunch and concert featuring Music Director Xian Zhang and world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming inspired by her 2023 GRAMMY Award-winning album, Voice of Nature: the Anthropocene.
This event, featuring world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming, highlighted the impact of human health in the arts and how the transformative power of music can impact people’s health. It featured a panel discussion featuring Fleming, Dr. Tasha Golden, Aly Maier Lokuta and Dr. Brian Benson before concluding with an autograph session, all in promotion of her book, Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness.
This summer fundraiser, hosted by the Monmouth County Council of the New Jersey Symphony, raised funds in support of the Symphony’s Education and Community Programs in an event that featured a cocktail reception and a performance by the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players.
This event helped raise awareness of the New Jersey Symphony’s artistic, education and community programs across New Jersey, including in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, with a chef-curated cocktail reception and a special performance by Grammy Award-winning ensemble Time For Three.
This Bridgerton-inspired gala celebrated the New Jersey Symphony’s efforts to bring great music and programs to current and future generations across New Jersey with a reception and dinner, a performance by members of the New Jersey Symphony and the Youth Orchestra’s Curtland E. Fields Ensemble and a silent auction.

Our 2021 Lunar New Year Celebration was enjoyed across the globe with a week-long virtual festival and concert. Celebration sponsors and supporters enjoyed a VIP event featuring an exclusive performance by acclaimed guitarist Xuefei Yang and interviews with Xian Zhang, Bart Feller and Na-Young Baek.
The New Jersey Symphony held its virtual Spring into Music Gala & Online Auction this year, and we were delighted to keep our gala tradition going. Even though we could not be together in person for this event, we were still connected through the power of music. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this year’s gala. More than 1,500 concertgoers and 200 dinner guests celebrated the Year of the Rat, as the New Jersey Symphony and Music Director Xian Zhang came together for the Orchestra’s Lunar New Year Celebration Gala. Attendees enjoyed a pre-concert festival with crafters, a variety of musical performances and cultural festivities. It was an unforgettable night of entertainment and fine dining!
The New Jersey Symphony held its annual Opening Night Celebration and honored an outstanding community member—Curtland E. Fields, President & CEO of the Turrell Fund and New Jersey Symphony Trustee. More than 300 guests enjoyed the celebration, with an incredible season-opening performance of Holst’s The Planets, paired with jaw-dropping NASA astronomical visuals in HD, along with symphonic classics conducted by Music Director Xian Zhang.
