Musicians of the New Jersey Symphony come together for a brilliant performance in the spotlight
May 19, 2025
The musicians of the New Jersey Symphony took over as Concertmaster Eric Wyrick and Principal Second Violin Francine Storck performed a duet of J.S. Bach’s Double Concerto for Two Violins, while fellow musicians David Southorn, Ming Yang, Elzbieta Weyman and Nayoung Baek performed Michael Abels’ Delights and Dances in three performances, May 16–18 in Princeton and Newark. James C. Taylor of NJ Advance Media was at the Sunday afternoon performance at NJPAC for his review.
A special afternoon of music: seamlessly blending old, familiar, and new refrains, and making them all feel very much at home in present day New Jersey.
